Wendy Robin & the Quiet Storm was formed to provide quality live entertainment and shows to audiences.
Wendy Robin and The Quiet Storm is a well established and very entertaining group. This group is made up of 5 to 7 very versatile and seasoned musicians who have been rocking audiences all over the world for more than 4 years.
Wendy Robin performed in South East Asia (Hong Kong ,Singapore, Thailand ,Indonesia, Macau) for more than 5 years. During her time in Asia she brought on some electrifying performances to audiences in The Grand Hyatt Hotel chain as well as the Mandarin Oriental and Le Meridien all 5 Star Hotels .Wendy always mixed her amazing vocals with high energy performances. Wendy 's Motto is to make sure the audience shout and react to every song being performed and in doing so she always try to put on a show and add a different flavor whenever she and her band hits the stage.
Individually Wendy Robin the leader of the band have performed with and alongside artist such as Percy Sledge (When A Man Loves A woman), Temptations (My Girl ,Papa was a rolling Stone ) just to name a few. The drummer Sty performed with Nina Haggen for more than 6 years.
Most of Quiet Storm members have been performing for over 15 years.
Wendy Robin and the Quiet Storm aim to please their audiences at whatever cost. This band bring the same energy to their performance whether they are performing for 20 people or 20,000.
Wendy Robin and The Quiet Storm have extensive years performing to varied audiences with a wide range of musical taste.Wendy Robin and The Quiet Storm music repertoire include music from the 60's to present and cover an extremely wide range of music from R&B, Soul, Top 40, Salsa, Rock, Reggae and Jazz.
Presently Wendy Robin and The Quiet Storm performs mostly cover songs but add their own feel to the music.Many of Wendy Robin & The Quiet Storm musicians have formal musical training .Wendy Robin and the Quiet Storm musicians individually have all recorded music and as a group they will be working on a recording of their own music in the near future. The 1st single is a remake of Gladys Knight "Midnight train to Georgia"

Wendy is the Leader of Wendy Robin and the Quiet Storm and is also one of the lead vocalist . Wendy's experience performing live music stems from many years of traveling all over the world.Wendy's presence on stage can only be described as powerful.Wendy Robin have also been the winner of two beauty pageants that she participated in and also did some modeling for print and calendars.

Alex "Sty" Laroque............... Drums and Vocals
Alex (Sty) Laroque is essentially a self-taught musician who grew up in a musical household. His father (now deceased) was a guitarist and his mentor. Sty gained exposure doing radio and television commercials during this time in the French Caribbean Islands.
After joining Exile One (the creators of Cadence music) he toured extensively throughout the Caribbean, Europe and North America. Sty wrote We The Youth and recorded it with Exile One. It received critical acclaim.In 1980 Sty joined CBS recording artist,rock diva Nina Sky whose music included punk rock,heavy metal,funk,hip-hop and reggae.They recorded and toured extensively throughout the world for 5 years.Sty also recorded an album with Nina Haggen entitled In Ecstasy. He had the opportunity to tour with The Stray Cats,Simple Minds and Kim Wylde. Sty attended the Jazz Mobile of Harlem School of Music in New York City.
Sty's next musical project was with Vernon Reid and Living Color playing the club circuit in New York City.Vernon continues to enjoy success as a world-renowned guitarist in the jazz rock fusion and heavy metal circuit.
Sty also worked with Moja Nya and toured with reggae greats like Steel Pulse,Third World,Burning Spears and the Wailers.They toured West Africa with Doug E.Fresh and Sty performed with Chuck Berry also.Alex contribution to Quiet Storm is immense as he take charge on the stage thus keeping the band in line as to the direction of the songs...
